Robert Herman is a New York street photographer who has been working with photography since the early 1980s. In 2014 he published The New Yorkers-a monograph of Kodachrome photographs of New York City-that was so successful that it was reprinted.

His new publication The Phone Book-a book of photographs taken with iPhones-will be published in the fall of 2015 [Schiffer Publishing, Ltd].

Robert firmly believes in the idea that it is the photographer's eye that makes the picture and not the camera. In a completely confidential atmosphere of mutual exchange characterized by creative stimulation, Robert is excited to share his 30 years of experience in the photographic industry with participants.

In this four-day intensive workshop, Robert will guide each student to hone their photographic skills to create images with a strong visual impact, guiding them to define their own unique style.

During the first meeting, each participant will be assigned a neighborhood in the city that he or she will have to work hard on during the four-day workshop.

The assignment of a specific, geographically circumscribed neighborhood will enable the student to obtain a detailed, in-depth picture of the assigned area and to study in depth the character of the people who populate it-a photographic encyclopedia of the places and people who live in the city.

"Districts of Naples" is a four-day intensive workshop designed for photographers of all levels. The objective of the workshop is to focus on the creation of a small photographic project that will need to be given a title and will consist of a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 10 images that will form the students' new portfolio. FUORI GAMUT - fine art printing workshop, will provide printing of the images produced
