The cultural enterprise in the South!

Our South has a vast cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible, which represents an asset and a great opportunity for young people and for the development of territories. This heritage, however, is not adequately valued, and is often in inadequate and alarming conditions of preservation and usability, in a context aggravated by the contraction of public investment. However, there are positive experiences and good practices that leverage innovative management models, proactive public involvement, and the construction of community. Experiments with models capable of combining culture and social innovation, paving the way for a possible transition.

For an economy of transition.

New models for sustainability
The urgency of the crisis is radically transforming the international political agenda on economics and labor. Models of the "other economy," once marginalized, are now looked to with hope to open an escape route from a market system that is no longer sustainable and build an equitable and durable alternative. Sharing, collaborative creation, commons and peer-to-peer exchange are the main ingredients with which theorists, activists and recently even some governments are trying to compose a possible political recipe for happy living.
